About us
St Edburgha's is an historic church dating back up to 800 years. It is set in the Yardley conservation area and has been a centre for worship for over 1000 years.
Old Yardley Village has been a part of Birmingham for only 100 years. Despite this it has retained a great deal of its old charm.
Our 15th century church is the centre of the village and is surrounded by parkland, which enhances its rural feel.
Next door to the church is the medieval Trust School building and nearby there is a Victorian School building. Both these buildings are now used as Parish rooms.
Opposite the church is a row of old cottages, Church farm (now converted for residential purposes) and a working blacksmith.
