The congregation is a wide and varied group of people of all ages. We have a good record of confirmees over recent years – both adults and children.
Each year our P.C.C. Extra Parochial Matters Committee (XPM) selects a number of Charities they wish to support- both local and national. An envelope scheme is used for this purpose. In addition we support CMS (Nationally) & Malawi (through our Diocesan Link).
There is a large P.C.C. of 18 elected members- serving 3-year terms (rotation of 6 per year) plus 4 Deanery Synod Representatives and 2 churchwardens.
There is a group of dedicated fun-loving people who organise social events for the Parish and a rota of volunteers who provide refreshments after the main Sunday service every week.
There are a number of community and church related groups which meet regularly in the Trust School and Church Halls.
Connections with neighbouring parishes and other denominations in the area include shared services twice a year and events such as the Christmas Carol singing and Easter Witness ( at the local shopping centre)
We have a Junior Church for children aged 3 – 11 every Sunday during school terms. They join the Eucharist part way through the service and also occasionally take an active part in services.
