We have been told by our architects that we need to raise £1,000,000 to save our lovely old Parish Church and other buildings. We need this money to repair the tower, spire and roof. If we do not repair the stonework soon, the church building may have to be closed for all services, including weddings, baptisms and funerals.
There has been a church on this site for well over 1000 years and the present building has stood for over 700 years. During that time it has been looked after by the people of Yardley. If St Edburgha’s is to remain open for the next generation we need YOUR help and generosity.
