Some frequently asked questions:
Q. Can I get married at St. Edburgha’s if I have been divorced?
A. St Edburgha’s is a Church that marries divorced people, but the Vicar will want to explore some of the details surrounding your previous marriage.
Q. What are Banns?
A. This is when your names are read out publicly in Church to say that you are planning to get married. It is a very old custom which helps stop people committing bigamy!
Q. Can we video the service?
A. Yes – the fee for the copyright licence is included in the cost of the wedding.
We are here to help, support you and encourage you on your special day.
